Friday Night Launch Event

The Illegal Eagles, one of the world's top tribute bands, play Cliffe Park, Seaburn, on Friday 24 July as part of an evening of music and flying performances. The evening will be a fantastic way to start the airshow experience with the family festival atmosphere setting the scene perfectly for the rest of the weekend.

Local “The Voice” and Miss Sunderland contestant Olivia Lawson,
The Lake Poets,
George Shovling and the Radars,
Her Majesty's Royal Marine Band (Scotland).

As well as great performances there will be a spectacular flying display, which includes: the RAF Tutor, Hawk T2 Team, The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, The Red Arrows, the Eurofighter Typhoon and the Twister Duo Display Team, complete with their airborne pyrotechnics.

To top it of, the night closes with a spectacular firework display launched from the recently refurbished Roker Pier.
