"You Only Get One Chance at Life" - Amie's Zip Wire Story...

The other week we shared with you 'Zip for Jack' - one of the fantastic reasons people have chosen to take part in the Sunderland Live Zip Wire Challenge. This week we wanted to share with you Amie's Zip Wire Story.

Amie's mother sadly passed away when she was only eleven years old and she spent her final days in St. Benedicts Hospice. Having always wanted to try a zip wire challenge, Amie saw this as the perfect opportunity to raise money for a fantastic cause.

Speaking about her Zip Wire Challenge, Amie said: "My mother was a fantastic believer in 'you only get one chance at life' so I think this is the perfect thing to do in her memory. I hope to make her proud."

To sponsor Amie, you can visit her just-giving page by clicking here or to take part in the Sunderland Live Zip Wire Challenge for a cause of your choice, book your tickets here.
