Sunderland Live presents music at the Sunderland Festival of Running

Sunderland Live are supporting runners taking part in the Sunderland Festival of Running with a programme of music this weekend. Local vocalists Ange Telford and Olivia Lawson will be supporting X Factor finalist Ricky Hance on Saturday evening as part of the Pasta Party between 5pm and 7pm at the Sunderland Museum and Winter Gardens. Those registered for the races can access the party for free and entrance for others is £3.

On Sunday runners and their supporters will be energised and entertained with live performers at the start of the race (The Stadium of Light) and at key points along the route. Local performers including Pantastic Steel Pans, 27 Side Effects, Chloe and the High Tides, The Montagues, Aurora Breakup, Eskimo, Scott Keirs, Alex Dobson, Lauren Doyle, Neil McBride and performers from the Youth Music Academy and more will be providing a range of musical entertainment along the route between 10.30am and 4pm.
