Sunderland Live's very own Chris Alexander will be taking part in the Zip Wire Challenge...

In case you hadn't heard the news already Sunderland Live's Chief Operating Officer, Chris Alexander is taking part in our Zip Wire Challenge on May 4th!

Sadly, Chris' family has been touched like so many by the terrible illness that is Dementia.

He said: "This chance to raise much needed funds to support the great work done by the Alzheimer's Society proved to be something I couldn't say no to. So, I'll be standing on the Wearmouth Bridge in May and then Zip Wiring across the River Wear - I can't wait!!??"
