This year Sunderland’s Christmas programme will be launched by Andrea Faustini, the X Factor favourite with a passion for pugs. The loveable Italian star who launched his debut album Kelly this summer, will join The Right Worshipful, The Mayor of Sunderland, Cllr Barry Curran and special guests in pressing that all important button at the Christmas Lights Switch On event on 12 November.
