A Flying Start at the Sunderland Live Zip Wire Challenge 2014
Zip Wire Challenge 2014 off to a flying start...
Today was an absolutely fantastic day and a great way to start the bank holiday weekend... Our charity partners kick started off the Sunderland Live Zip Wire Challenge today and they did it in style.
Not only did the Right Worshipful, the Mayor of Sunderland, Councillor Robert Heron take a trip down the zip but we also saw Superman, onesies and hundreds of people proudly wearing their charity t-shirts!
It was all for some fantastic causes and we're really thankful to all our charity partners and their volunteers for braving the dizzy heights of the Wearmouth Bridge. Take a look at our facebook page to see nearly two hundred photos from today and if you took part make sure you get tagging!
Thank you to everyone who donated, came along and supported and of course thank you once again to our charity partners for taking part. We'll be back to do it all over again tomorrow for anyone who booked a place via our website.
Good luck Sunday Zippers!
