Q&A; with Emma...

If I didn’t work for Sunderland Live I’d...
Probably be a fundraiser for a charity or work for a charity in some way, its where my interest in events came from.

Your favourite meal to make is…
I love food and I like to make new things even if I do always go back to the old favourites like spaghetti bolognese or sausage and mash!!

Favourite book?
I couldn’t pick one, I waste so much time reading , I once paid £70 in excess baggage going on holiday with books in my case, (thank goodness for kindles now)

What is your greatest achievement?
It’s a cliché but my son, degree and my career, – I completed my degree at the same time as having a new born and got a job in the industry I wanted to be in straight after graduation when my child was just a few months old - it was really hard work but I’m pleased I did it!!

In another life I would be...
a chef , I love food and I wish I had more time to do the things I enjoy... or a teacher who wouldn’t love all those holidays?

What’s your secret talent?
I can fold my tongue in half and make it stick – not really a talent but it’s kind of weird
