This year’s City Sings event will be jazzed up by the introduction of the competition’s first ever ‘City Sings the Blues’ theme. The annual event will return to the Sunderland Empire on Sunday March 15 and will see several primary and secondary school choirs compete to win the coveted Dr Gilbert trophy.
